When I went to Sint Maarten, Blue Bubbles welcomed me to the island with open arms. So much so that I left with a birthday gift — a Sint Maarten license plate — and newfound family. Unfortunately, it’s rare that I can visit a place more than once, which makes it hard to keep in touch, but I have found other ways.
